PEARLS

Pearls come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Each one is unique and brings its own beauty to the world around it.

Pearls are formed inside the shell of certain mollusks as a defense mechanism against a potentially threatening irritant such as a parasite inside the shell, or an attack from outside, injuring the mantle tissue. The mollusk creates a pearl sac to seal off the irritation.

peril2The unique luster of pearls depends upon the reflection, refraction and diffraction of light from the translucent layers. The thinner and more numerous the layers in the pearl, the

finer the luster. The iridescence that pearls display is caused by the overlapping of successive layers which breaks up light

falling on the surface. The very best pearls have a metallic mirror-like luster.

 

We, like pearls, have our own unique gifts we bring to the world around us. We are all very different, yet we’re still the same.

We each have our own set of ‘irritants’ that cause us to be uncomfortable with our circumstances.

What is your irritant that is causing you to take action? What is your irritant that will propel you towards success?

  • Lack of money?
  • Lack of time freedom?
  • Lack of goals and direction?
  • Procrastination?

If you’re feeling some discomfort in your life – good!! Why? Because discomfort will make you move, change strategies and MAKE you TAKE ACTION!!!
