Who Knows You?

One of the most important things I’ve learned in business is understanding that it’s not who I know that is important, it’s who knows me.

Don’t get me wrong… BOTH are important, but it’s who knows me that has helped catapult my business to such great heights.

I thought I would share this with you today because of my recent request for hungry investors to join my team. Some of the people who reached out to me and inquired about the opportunity are investors I’ve known for years. Some were part of past coaching programs, some are in current coaching programs. Some are investors I’ve partnered on deals with before or have just periodically reached out to me from time to time and so I recognized their name when it came across my desk.

It’s those people who peaked my attention immediately when choosing who I’d be talking to during this first wave of interviews. The reason I wanted to bring this up is because some of you sit on the sidelines watching these emails come through and yet, you procrastinate on taking action or exploring opportunities and I want you to know that you are making a HUGE mistake.

It’s okay to explore something and say it’s not right for me but it’s not okay to sit on the bench doing nothing!!!

At some point, if you really want your dreams to come true, you have to get past your fears and start talking to people about what you want to do, who you want to be and how you plan on getting there.

YOU are one of a kind, there is no one else like you! YOU were created for a purpose! So, stand tall, stand proud and STEP UP!! Reach out to someone today and grow your network of people who know YOU!!
