Top O’ the day to ya!! 🙂
Don’t you just LOVE this photo of the clover pushing up through the weathered boards?? Just looking at this photo has a lot of life lessons in it!!
What I see in this picture is, someone thought they had a better plan than the little clover did. They tried to build over the clover. They tried to cover the clover’s need of growing, being abundant and flourishing… but they couldn’t stop the desire of the clover to do what it was DESTINED to do – GROW AND SUCCEED!!! THERE’S ALWAYS A WAY!!!
What about you? Has anyone tried to ‘build’ over your dream? Has anyone told you that you couldn’t do it? Has anyone told you ‘you’re not smart enough, rich enough, strong enough or you don’t have the right connections’?
In the last 2 years as my company has grown nationally, I’ve had people try to discourage me, knock me off course or bring me down and like this clover, I refused to be stopped.
I encourage you to be like the strong, resilient clover!! Persevere!! Find a way to push through the nay sayers and the ‘boards of doubt’ and MAKE your dream come true!! An Irish proverb says “You’ll never plough a field by turning it over in your mind”. Don’t worry what others have to say about your dreams or abilities. Make sure it’s not you that’s holding you back. As another Irish proverb says “Unwillingness easily finds an excuse”. You are the only one that can limit YOU!!!
If you’re obtaining coaching in your chosen field of success and you haven’t seen the results you’ve wanted, take heart!! A couple of Irish proverbs say “Questioning is the door of knowledge” and “It’s not a delay to stop and sharpen the scythe”. You are being sharpened for your success!!!
I also want to encourage you to take action with the knowledge you are receiving and to not be idle. Do you know what the Irish say about idleness? “Poverty waits at the gate of idleness”. Wow! Something to think about……
Please take another look at the picture above. Look how vibrant and green the clover is and how it lends beauty to the dry, weathered boards. The clover is you. You are vibrant, green and beautiful! You add beauty to your surroundings and your success and determination adds beauty to everything around you. As the Irish say “If your messenger is slow, go to meet him.” Go after your dream!! Pursue it as if your future depends on it (and it might!!!) You are destined for greatness!!!A final Irish proverb I’d like to leave with you is “A heavy purse makes a light heart.”
Go for your POT OF GOLD!!
